CASE STUDY: Pikes Peak Place

Sustainable Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow

Initial plans for the Pikes Peak Place call for a world-class, 20-story building located at one of Colorado Springs’ most significant and historically relevant downtown intersections. A team of some of the most notable national architects – including the environmental innovator, William McDonough – have visioneered this sustainable mixed-use building featuring:

  • Three levels of underground public and private parking
  • 30,000 s.f. of retail
  • 150 leasable one- and two-bedroom residential units
  • 250,000 s.f. of Class A office space
  • A garden-level public plaza hosting outdoor art, street vendors, native landscaping and the bustling activity of pedestrians

Incorporating state-of-the-art green elements will make the building less taxing on local resources and significantly more efficient than traditional buildings. Pikes Peak Place will use downtown’s vertical real estate like never before, complementing the existing skyline and the treasured Pikes Peak, and ultimately acting as a catalyst for more quality, innovative downtown development.
