Hello, I'm Jeff Finn

Vice President

Mr. Jeffrey A Finn, Vice President at Nor’wood Development Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado, primarily focuses his energy on the revitalization and redevelopment of downtown Colorado Springs into a thriving mixed-use urban neighborhood. Mr. Finn has a heart for improving the city’s urban environment and a deep-rooted passion for architecture and urban design, a rare combination in today’s real estate market.

As Vice President for Nor’wood, his creative, collaborative and innovative approach to development has been foundational to community development initiatives and private developments throughout the Pikes Peak Region. Mr. Finn was an integral team member of “City for Champions”, an ambitious $250M revitalization and economic development project for the City of Colorado Springs that includes developing the United States Olympic Museum, a Downtown Stadium and Event Center, a Sports Medicine and Performance Center at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a new visitor center at the United States Air Force Academy. In December 2013, the City of Colorado Springs was awarded approximately $120M over 30 years from the State of Colorado’s Economic Development Office for City for Champions.

Continuing to build on the successful results of City for Champions, Mr. Finn is currently managing the new urban master plan for Southwest Downtown in Colorado Springs with Skidmore Owings and Merrill and HR&A Financial Advisors where Nor’wood is the largest private landholder in the district. He works closely with the United States Olympic Museum Board of Directors as a member of the Design and Building Committee, tasked with providing direction to the Museum’s design team, led by Diller, Scofidio + Renfro with exhibits designed by Gallagher and Associates.

In addition to his work in Southwest Downtown, Mr. Finn is also pioneering two urban living projects in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs. These will be the first major purpose built urban living projects in almost twenty years, with a total of 360 units. Other visionary projects currently under his leadership include a 14-acre adaptive reuse on the east edge of Downtown Colorado Springs of an old hospital and newspaper printing facility into a thriving mixed-use community destination with edgy space for start-up businesses, the Colorado Springs Public Market, urban living, craft food and drink and outdoor green spaces.

Prior to joining Nor’wood Development Group, Mr. Finn worked in the commercial architectural industry in Florida and Colorado as a designer and project manager for 10 years where he led the architectural design on hospitality, higher education, religious and federal building projects. Mr. Finn holds a Bachelor Degree of Design with a major in Architecture from the University of Florida, as well as a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin. He is a husband to his loving wife, Rebecca, and father to four incredible children, Jackson, Cooper, Brewer and Kinley. Their family can often be exploring natural assets throughout Colorado’s High Country on foot or bike.
