First & Main Free Summer Concert Series Kicks Off with Festival of Family Fun Southern Colorado Invited to Take Part in Celebration of Summer
Colorado Springs, Colo. (June 4, 2007) – The 3rd Annual First & Main Free Summer Concert Series presented by Penrose-St. Francis Health Services and fueled by The Faricy Boys, kicks off its 2007 season with the free Summer Spectacular event on June 8 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the park in front of Cinemark Theatre at First & Main Town Center.
Festivities are open to the public and feature free food samplings from First & Main Town Center restaurants; freebies from event sponsors; special entertainment for children including a bouncy house, gigantic slide, caricature artist, juggler and magician; and live music from Colorado’s own Martini Shot.
Martini Shot will take the stage at 5 p.m. showcasing sounds of pop/rock music infused with the sultry echo of horns.
This year, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services’ Dr. Funny Bone will join the concert series with summer fun including face painting, a magical bubble show; get fit juggling acts and silly balloon twisting. And The Faricy Boys will hold a drawing for a free $25 gift card to any Shell gas station in town.
About the 3rd Annual First & Main Free Summer Concert Series The 3rd Annual First & Main Free Summer Concert Series presented by Penrose-St. Francis Health Services and fueled by The Faricy Boys consists of ten weekly outdoor concerts from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday evenings throughout June, July and August. Each weekly concert features free food samplings, giveaways and entertainment.
